KATHY BOYLE
Kathy Boyle is a local artist and art educator with an international focus. She has been selected to exhibit in numerous shows in Australia and Europe and recently had a handmade artist book accepted to the British National Library, amongst others. Her approach is always experimental where she pushes the boundaries of what is possible with print, including her practice of printing on plaster-of-Paris.
I am an experimental printmaker. The printmaking process provides the starting point and methods and techniques for my practice, but I am not interested in reproducing an exact image or making editions of prints. It is the unique quality of the printmaking process with the inexhaustible range of possibilities it offers that excites me as an artist. - Kathy Boyle
