I think old leather has a quality to it that exudes beauty, indulgence and endurance. A mother figure wearing a leather bodice and layers of leather shoulder pads present a rather surreal and ambiguous portrait about exponentialism. Each layer resembles home made pancakes, but the top layer forms a saddle which transforms her shoulders into a whimsical shoulder ride for her children and a robot soft-toy. The robot suggests a gentle acceptance of our future dependence on AI - a family must have item to keep up with the Joneses. The exaggerated shoulder-ride becomes a metaphor for exponentialism as AI develops exponentially, as do humans expectations - more love, more innovation, more connection, as technology promises to improve our lives.
Her homely floral hood represents an incubator for abundance growing her garden from a single seed and her devotion multiplies without limit. Her bodice shows the symbol of eternal love.
