CLAIRE SADLER
Local sculptor, Claire Sadler, recently moved to Hawkes Bay from Taranaki, which is where she first discovered her natural affinity with carving in wood and stone.
Sadler's beautiful flowing sculptures show a sensitivity to organic forms from nature and an innate understanding of her materials, whilst her Abandoned Old Tech Pencils show the more whimsical side of her personality.
In Sadler’s words, "Sculpting is like breathing, essential to my life. I sculpt for me, if someone is moved by my work, fantastic."
